Born in Chittagong, Tamim Iqbal, the 27 years old sportsman, is the most successful and consistent batsman in Bangladesh team. His ODI debut was in 2007 against New Zealand and Test debut was 2008 against England.
His ODI average is 32.23 after playing 161 matches. The left-hander is regarded as one of the most exciting prospects in Bangladesh cricket and is arguably the hardest hitter of the cricket ball in the country. His elegance and style through the off side is a treat to watch but his trademark shot is the straight drive, capped with a text-book like follow-through (Cricinfo).
Here QuickSingle has brought you the highlights of one of his outstanding innings played against Pakistan in 2015.
The match was played on 17 April, 2015 in Dhaka Shere Bangla National Stadium. Tamim’s century allowed Bangladesh to post a total of 329. Later Pakistan got all out for 250 and Bangladesh won by 79 runs.
